As if on cue to be in harmony with the season of good cheer, the VALI Assisted Living Board of Directors has announced a name addition. The facility and program are now officially known as “VALI Assisted Living and Assisted Home Care.” VALI Staff member Rene Flynn who has been with VALI for almost seven years in a supervisory capacity, now directs the recently established community service. VALI Home Care provides in-home assistance for ADL—Activities of Daily Living—for persons of all ages, is state licensed, and approved for Medicaid and Medicare; private pay is also an option for the services. ADL includes bathing, hair care, personal care, dressing, meals, laundry, general cleaning, protective oversight, medication reminders, and shopping. To inquire about, or request, the services…
