 It seems that every time I try to go to press with Tribune over the past few weeks, when writing about silver in the Valley, I have to check the price of the metal to see how much it has skyrocketed or plummeted. Inevitably, I make a correction to the story and increase the price from what I had drafted in the article a few days before. Since 1990, silver has been a fairly boring commodity from a price perspective, trading in a $5 to $25 range over the past 36 years.
