 The Combined Regional Communica­tions Authority (CRCA 911) has been rec­ognized by The International Academies of Emergency Dispatch® (IAEDTM) as an Accredited Center of Excellence (ACE) for emergency medical and fire dispatching. CRCA provides emergency dispatch services for four law enforcement agencies, eight fire protection districts, and four EMS provid­ers across Fremont and Custer Counties, a total of approximately 2,300 square miles. A dedicated staff of 9-1-1 professionals answer over 76,000 emergency and non-emergency calls every year from the area’s 65,000+ full-time residents and visitors. CRCA is recognized as the 368th Med­ical ACE and 87th Fire ACE in the world, along with being the only agency in the state of Colorado to achieve dual ACE accreditation during the same applica­tion process.
