Today marks not only the observance among Christians of Maundy Thursday in Holy Week, but also the 5th day of the eight-day Jewish observance of Passover. For Christians, Maundy Thursday revisits the celebration of the Passover by the Jewish rabbi, Jesus of Nazareth, gathered with his disciples in Jerusalem.
