Man behind the DIA tents, local Jim Bradburn, passes

 The Tribune learned on October 16 that local resident Jim Bradburn passed away. Brad­burn had a huge impact not only on the Valley through his championing of Dark Skies Inc., but was also the architect of the iconic Denver International Airport. The following article on Bradburn was origi­nally published in Colorado Central Maga­zine in September of 2014. It wasn’t quite a napkin, but a few quick strokes on the backside of an appointment card led to the design of one of the most recognizable airport terminals in the world.
