(Information was gleaned from copies of the Wet Mountain Tribune, all from the first week in May.) 110 Years Ago – 1916 A nice, big, warm snow of about 18 inches depth covered the ground here on Sunday morning last. This was followed by a couple of rather cool nights but things are warming up now and the way vegetation will grow the next few weeks will surprise the natives. The ground was warm when the snow came and it drank up all the moisture.  At the Republican County Convention last Saturday the following delegates were elected to attend the State and Congressional conventions in Pueblo on Tuesday: W.E. Merriam, Geo. Phillips, J.T. McNeely and A.S. Mulvay. None of the delegates attended we were informed.…
