During the Custer County Board of County Commissioners Meeting (BOCC) meeting on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 the BOCC voted unanimously to place Public Health Director Clifford Brown on paid administrative leave effective immediately. An investigation into the Public Health Director will continue, but it was made clear by the BOCC that Brown must give up his keys to the public health building, must not contact any staff, and remain available for any communication from the BOCC.
