Of Tornados, Smoke Palls, and 142 years of weekly printing in the Crestone Chronicles

 Shanna Lewis had a strange experience when the tornado touched down last week, as she had just been organizing some old magazines. At random, she picked up a July 2014 edition of the Colorado Central Magazine and flipped to a random page with an article with a head­line that read, “Moun­tain Tornadoes Rare but Not Unique.” The tornado touched down just to the northwest of her place; a “strange coincidence,” indeed.
