Another sure sign of summer blooms this coming weekend. Art in the Barn, one of the Valleyâs popular art sales, is scheduled to be underway Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, June 12, 13, and 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Located at 3820 County Road 271 (follow the signs east of the towns at the Bear Basin turnoff to the north!), the curated sale features local artists who have attracted regional followers and collectors. They include Lorie Batson, whose barn it is; her vibrant plein air paintings capturing the beauty of nature, wildlife, and the Western landscape are featured, both framed and unframed.
Terri Wiebkeâs colorful and textured paintings will also be available, as well as customed, rustic furniture and repurposed pieces by Country Woods Designs.
Flying Lead Designs provides Western-inspired art, frames, belts, buckles, and decor crafted from barn wood, leather, and cowhide.
Flip Sisters bring their unique collection of vintage and up-cycled home goods, clothing,jewelry, and more.
Linda Oulette, Jewel Smith, displays her handcrafted jewelry designed with detail and timeless beauty. A new participating artist this season, Christina MacLeod, will have her amazing fabric art available.
Local folks and visitors have always found the busy barn a fun place to be for browsing through one of-a-kind fine art and crafted gift and collector pieces.
