Since their summer 2024 purchase of Valley Feed, Freeman and Mary Anne Miller have been working tirelessly to expand local feed options here in the Valley. Last week, the Miller’s were excited to share that they received their first shipment of non-GMO feeds from Nemo Feed.
In a press release, Valley Feed announced, “We have very exciting news; we received our first semi-truck load this week from our newest supplier, Nemo Feed LLC. This means that we now offer a wide variety of non-GMO feeds that customers have been asking for. This includes but is not limited to poultry feed like chicken starter and turkey feed. We also offer a wide variety of horse feed and colt growers plus goat, sheep, rabbits, loose minerals, cattle feeds, finishers, swine growers, and finishers.”
Nemo Feed is a small business based out of Baring, Missouri that specializes in mixing non-GMO feeds. Valley Feed is the first store in Colorado to start offering its specialty bagged feeds.
As part of the new partnership with Nemo Feed, Valley Feed announced that it would hold a customer appreciation day on Saturday, April 26, and will feature free coffee, donuts, fried pies, hamburgers, and drinks. Customers can take a look at all that is available. Plus, they are offering 10% off all saddles and horse tack in stock. There will be free delivery on all feed orders placed on that day.
So, mark those calendars and swing by to meet the staff just three miles east of downtown Westcliffe on Highway 96 at 3028 Hwy 96 Westcliffe.
