Last week, Jeremy Handy was sworn in to replace outgoing Wet Mountain Fire Protection District Board member Clint Seiling. Handy is a native of the Valley, graduating from Custer County High School in 2005. He previously served with the fire department as a volunteer for ten years. He was sworn into office by chairman Jerry Livengood.
