Bear Ridge Construction has taken over sponsorship of the traditional Saturday Memorial Weekend Parade with assistance from Bear Basin Ranch and the Wet Mountain Tribune. The Parade starts at 1:30 p.m. and will head down Main Street starting at Hermit and Main near the east school parking lot and heading west to the end of Main Street.
So far, the parade has over 15 entries, and Bear Ridge Construction would like to invite anyone in the community to join. From businesses to non-profits and everything in between, taking part in the parade is a great way to be part of a fantastic community event with a chance to be seen by the public.
There is no cost, and Bear Ridge Construction is giving a free t-shirt to each entrant! They will also have extra flags for people who need them. The parade takes place on Saturday, May 27, at 1:30 p.m. To sign up, call or text Dena Woods at 719-371-5503 or email her at dena@bearridgewestcliffe.com. In related news, the local American Legion Post 170 has taken over the July 4th Parade.
